Welcome to our website!!

In a Gospel music world where groups often sing with pre-recorded tracks, there still exists originality: a group who sings with live musicians playing as their backup. For 43 years, the Joymasters have stayed true to their foundation. A foundation built on the desire to deliver God's message through the gift of music. Never succumbing to the industry's evolution to the modern business principles of “hiring out”, The Joymasters continue to go wherever they are requested. They have no monetary prerequisite, no booking fee, only the undying total trust on the Lord to provide the blessings necessary to continue their ministry.

Brody’s Dream Playground

Brody Cole was born with a genetic disorder called mitochondrial disease that caused him to live more than a third of his life at the Scottish Rite Campus of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.  Brody was known for his signature yellow boots, his desire to become the Red Power Ranger, and his ability to live each day to the fullest.  Brody loved the people who cared for him at “his hospital” and they in turn loved him.  Brody’s mother and all who cared for him tried their best to give Brody normalcy, when things were not normal.  Brody’s disease caused him to suffer from intestinal failure, which ultimately required him to receive his nutrition intravenously for more than six years.  Brody waited on an intestinal transplant for almost four years, but sadly lost his life before organs became available.  Brody’s prayer for more than two years included the same last line:

“And at the playground, I slide down the slide-Amen”

In honor of Brody’s prayer, his mother and all of those who played a part in Brody’s life would like to see Brody’s dream come true by renovating the playground at “his hospital” to one that would include no limitations or restrictions for medically/cognitively challenged children.
